Calcium d3 nycomed dissolve. Chewable tablets Calcium D3 Nycomed (forte, mint): instructions, price and reviews. Prices and pharmacies

Calcium D3 Nycomed is used to prevent excessive synthesis of parathyroid hormone, which enhances bone resorption. The preparation is based on natural calcium and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). These substances contribute to the regulation of phosphorus-calcium metabolism, replenishment of calcium deficiency. Thanks to a sufficient amount of calcium, bone tissue is quickly restored, the level of blood clotting improves, teeth and bones are mineralized.

Thanks to vitamin D3, the absorption of calcium in the gastrointestinal tract is regulated, after which it is distributed throughout the body in the correct ratio.

Release form: round chewable tablets.

They are white and have a double bulge. If you notice jagged edges or blotches, don't worry. This is normal for this drug. Tablets can have orange, menthol or lemon flavor in one package can be 20, 30, 50, 60, 100 or 120 pieces.

This drug is intended for internal use directly with food. The tablets can be chewed or sucked.

The duration of the course is from 1 month to 2. The dosage is determined based on age and indications. Therefore, it is better to consult a doctor before use.

Calcium D3 Nycomed can be used during pregnancy, but in this case, the doctor sets the dosage. Why is it so important to stick to a certain dose?

An overdose of calcium or vitamin D3 leads to unpleasant consequences and complications. For example, hypercalcemia or hypervitaminosis D. In addition, the following manifestations and pathologies can become the consequences of an overdose:
  1. Anorexia.
  2. Urolithiasis disease.
  3. Cardiac arrhythmia.
  4. Nausea and vomiting.
  5. Fast fatiguability.
  6. Mental disorders and depression.
  7. Muscle weakness.
  8. Thirst.

If, nevertheless, the dose was too large for you, you need to take action. First of all, the doctor will prescribe thiazide diuretics and cardiac glycosides.

Interaction with other drugs and foods

When using the drug Calcium D3 Nycomed forte, interaction with other groups of medicines should be taken into account. For example, if you take the drug along with glycosides for the heart and thiazide diuretics, then hypercalcemia may develop. If there is a need for simultaneous administration, control of the level of calcium in the body should be carried out during treatment.

Expert opinion

Over time, pain and crunching in the back and joints can lead to dire consequences - local or complete restriction of movements in the joint and spine, up to disability. People, taught by bitter experience, use a natural remedy recommended by orthopedist Bubnovsky to cure joints ... Read more »

If the drug is taken together with barbiturate or phenytoin, then the effectiveness of treatment is significantly reduced. Glucocorticosteroid drugs reduce the level of absorption of calcium, which will have to increase the dosage.

And calcium, in turn, reduces the pharmacological effect of such a drug as Levotrexin. If necessary, the simultaneous use should take breaks between doses at 4 hours. But quinoline drugs are allowed to drink 6 hours after taking the drug. If you are taking a laxative containing vegetable or mineral oil, you should increase the dose of vitamin D3. Certain foods also reduce the absorption of calcium. These are spinach, cereals, sorrel.

The cost of the drug

Several factors affect the cost of a drug. First of all, this is the number of tablets in the package, the dosage and the pharmacy that sells the product:

  1. For 20 tablets, you will give about 250 rubles.
  2. 30 chewable tablets cost around 300 rubles.
  3. 60 tablets - 500 rubles.
  4. 120 - about 650 rubles.

Drug analogues

First of all, it is worth noting the drug "Beresh Calcium Plus D3".

"Vitrum Calcium with Vitamin D3" is slightly cheaper, but the degree of effectiveness is good.

The drug "Calcium-active" has the lowest cost. The effectiveness is slightly weaker, so it must be applied for an excessively long time.

A little about secrets

Have you ever experienced persistent back and joint pain? Judging by the fact that you are reading this article, you are already personally familiar with osteochondrosis, arthrosis and arthritis. Surely you have tried a bunch of medicines, creams, ointments, injections, doctors and, apparently, none of the above has helped you ... And there is an explanation for this: it is simply not profitable for pharmacists to sell a working product, as they will lose customers! Nevertheless, for thousands of years, Chinese medicine has known the recipe for getting rid of these diseases, and it is simple and straightforward. Read more »

Whether it is worth replacing Calcium D3 Nycomed with cheaper analogues can only be said by the attending physician. Since it depends on many factors and, first of all, on the characteristics of the organism.

Reviews

Valentina Sergeevna: not so long ago I began to notice that peculiar clicks appear in the knee joints. I read somewhere that this happens due to a lack of calcium, so I decided to take the course first. But then the question arose which remedy is better. At the pharmacy, I was recommended Calcium D3 Nycomed. Of course, it is expensive, but it fully justified itself. Because it took only 10 days to get rid of the click.

Marina: I have long been tormented by joint pains, because I have been on my feet all day. I went to the doctor, but no serious abnormalities were found. But the doctor advised to drink a course of tablets Calcium D3 Nycomed. After finishing the course of treatment, I began to feel just great. Of course, the pains began to disappear after about a week, but now they are not there at all. Even at the end of the working day. A wonderful tool.

Stanislav Prutikov: I was prescribed Calcium D3 Nycomed by a traumatologist after a broken leg. This is necessary for the speedy healing and strengthening of bones. Yes, it did. Despite my age (56 years old), I quickly got to my feet. There were no consequences, and the leg did not hurt. The only thing I'm not happy with is the high cost. I wanted to take cheaper pills, but did not risk it. It happens that a miser pays twice.

Govorukhina Ekaterina: I liked the drug very much. After giving birth, I felt unwell, so I underwent a full examination of the whole body. Abnormalities in the articular system and a lack of calcium and vitamins were found. I was prescribed this drug along with vitamin therapy. The course of treatment is a month. At the end of this period, I again passed the tests, and it turned out that the level of vitamins and calcium returned to normal. And I myself began to feel great.

Kostya: My grandmother was diagnosed with osteoporosis, so the doctor said that she needed to replenish her body with calcium and something else. In general, he prescribed Calcium D3 Nycomed. Although my grandmother resisted (the product is expensive), I bought it anyway. She was treated for a long time. I no longer remember exactly how long I drank this particular calcium, but her bones became significantly stronger. A good product, I recommend.

Pharmacotherapeutic group

Mineral supplements. Calcium preparations. Calcium supplements in combination with other medications.

ATX code A12AX

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacokinetics

Typically, the amount of calcium absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) is approximately 30% of the dose taken.

99% of calcium in the body is concentrated in the rigid structure of bones and teeth. The remaining 1% is in intra- and extracellular fluids. About 50% of the total calcium in the blood is in a physiologically active ionized form, with about 10% in combination with citrate, phosphate or other anions, the remaining 40% associated with proteins, primarily albumin.

Calcium is excreted in feces, urine and sweat. Renal excretion depends on glomerular filtration and tubular calcium reabsorption.

Cholecalciferol

Vitamin D3 is easily absorbed in the small intestine.

Cholecalciferol and its metabolites circulating in the blood bind to a specific globulin. Cholecalciferol is converted in the liver by hydroxylation to 25-hydroxycholecalciferol. Then it is converted in the kidneys into the active form 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol. 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol is a metabolite that increases calcium absorption. Unmetabolized vitamin D3 is deposited in adipose and muscle tissues.

Vitamin D3 is excreted in feces and urine.

Pharmacodynamics

Combined drug that regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body. Reduces resorption (resorption) and increases the density of the bone skeleton and teeth, replenishing the lack of calcium and vitamin D in the body.

Calcium is involved in the regulation of nerve conduction, muscle contractions and is a component of the blood coagulation system.

Vitamin D3 increases intestinal calcium absorption.

Calcium and vitamin D3 supplementation counteracts the increase in parathyroid hormone (PTH) levels caused by calcium deficiency and causing an increase in calcium leaching from the bones.

Vitamin D hypervitaminosis

Calcium-D3 Nycomed contains isomalt (E953) and sucrose. Therefore, patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, impaired absorption of glucose-galactose and sucrose-isomaltase deficiency should not take this drug

Drug interactions

Thiazide diuretics reduce urinary calcium excretion. Due to the increased risk of hypercalcemia, it is necessary to regularly monitor serum calcium levels during concomitant use of thiazide diuretics.

Hypercalcemia can increase the toxicity of cardiac glycosides during calcium and vitamin D treatment. Patients should be monitored by electrocardiography (ECG) and serum calcium levels should be monitored.

Calcium carbonate can affect the absorption of concomitantly taken tetracycline drugs. For this reason, tetracycline drugs should be taken at least two hours before or four to six hours after oral administration of calcium carbonate.

The absorption of quinolone antibiotics can be impaired when taken simultaneously with calcium. Quinolone antibiotics should be taken two hours before or six hours after taking calcium supplements.

With the concomitant use of bisphosphonates, these drugs must be taken at least one hour before taking Calcium-D3 Nycomed, since absorption in the gastrointestinal tract may be reduced.

The effectiveness of levothyroxine may decrease with the simultaneous use of calcium, due to a decrease in the absorption of levothyroxine. At least four hours should elapse between calcium and levothyroxine intake.

Calcium salts can reduce the absorption of iron, zinc and strontium ranelate. Therefore, iron, zinc, or strontium ranelate should be taken at least two hours before or after calcium supplementation.

Orlistat treatment can potentially interfere with the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (eg vitamin D3).

special instructions

During long-term treatment, serum calcium levels should be monitored and renal function monitored by measuring serum creatinine levels. Observation is especially important in elderly patients with concomitant treatment with cardiac glycosides and diuretics, and in patients with an increased tendency to form stones. In cases of hypercalcemia or signs of impaired renal function, the dosage should be reduced or treatment stopped.

Calcium carbonate with cholecalciferol should be used with caution in patients with hypercalcemia or signs of impaired renal function, and the level of calcium and phosphate effects should be monitored. The risk of soft tissue calcification must be taken into account.

In the course of concomitant therapy with other sources of vitamin D and / or drugs or nutrients containing calcium, there is a risk of hypercalcemia and lactic acid syndrome with subsequent renal impairment. In such patients, serum calcium levels and renal function should be monitored.

Calcium-D3 Nycomed should be prescribed with caution to patients suffering from sarcodiosis, due to the risk of increased conversion of vitamin D into its active form. In such patients, serum and urine calcium levels should be monitored.

Calcium-D3 Nycomed should be used with caution in immobilized patients with osteoporosis, due to the risk of hypercalcemia.

In hepatic impairment, dose adjustment is not required.

Pregnancy and lactation

Pregnancy

Calcium-D3 Nycomed can be used by women during pregnancy in case of calcium and vitamin D deficiency.During pregnancy, the daily dose should not exceed 2500 mg of calcium and 4000 IU of vitamin D. But an overdose of calcium and vitamin D in pregnant women should be avoided, since constant hypercalcemia adversely affects the developing fetus.

Vitamin D in therapeutic doses does not have a teratogenic effect.

Lactation period

Calcium-D3 Nycomed can be used during breastfeeding. Calcium and vitamin D3 pass into breast milk. This should be taken into account in cases of additional administration of vitamin D to a child.

Calcium-D3 Nycomed is a mineral and vitamin preparation that regulates metabolism and compensates for the lack of calcium (Ca) and vitamin D3 in the body. The drug is sold over the counter and has a reputation as a useful remedy not only for diseases and, but also fortifying, improving the condition of nails, teeth and hair. However, the drug has side effects and contraindications, so before buying it from a pharmacy, it will be useful to read the instructions for use. Awareness of the price, as well as cheaper analogs, will help make the right choice.

The drug is available in the form of chewable tablets. They are round, white in color, have yellowish-gray blotches and a slight fruity smell.

There are 4 types of flavors (aromas):

  1. mint;
  2. citric;
  3. orange;
  4. strawberry and watermelon.

Tablets are packed in 20, 30, 50, 100 and 120 pieces in high-density polyethylene bottles of white color, which, together with the instructions, are placed in cardboard packages.

The manufacturer in Russia is the Yaroslavl Pharmaceutical Plant, which is part of the largest Japanese pharmaceutical company Takeda Pharmaceutical.

pharmachologic effect

The main active ingredients of lemon chewable tablets are:

  1. calcium carbonate - 1250 mg, which corresponds to 500 mg of elemental Ca;
  2. colecalciferol (vitamin D3) - 10 mcg (400 IU).

In mint, strawberry-watermelon and orange tablets with the same amount of Ca, the content of vitamin D3 is 2 times less - 5 μg (200 IU).

The combined action of the active ingredients of the drug - calcium and D3 - is as follows:

  • the necessary level of calcium in our body is restored;
  • the processes of bone tissue resorption stop, that is, the leaching of mineral salts from it, which contributes to an increase in its density;
  • increases, due to the presence of vitamin D3, the intensity of calcium absorption.

Indications for use

Calcium is necessary to ensure the life of the body along with other macroelements: oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, iron, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, etc. Normally, its content in the human body is 2%.

Ca is a part of bone tissue, plays an important role in the transmission of nerve impulses, takes part in the contraction of striated and smooth muscles. With a lack of calcium, normal work of the heart is impossible, the production of hormones, the blood coagulation system ceases to function.

The drug is used:

  1. With bone injuries,.
  2. With different etiology.
  3. As part of drug therapy and bones.
  4. When there is a Ca deficiency due to food poisoning, dysbiosis, intestinal infections, chronic enterocolitis.
  5. With an increased need for calcium:
    • during periods of accelerated growth in children,
    • with significant physical or mental stress,
    • for women, these are periods of pregnancy, lactation, menopause and postmenopause.
  6. With obvious external signs of calcium deficiency:
    • brittle nails
    • deterioration of the condition of the teeth,
    • dry skin and hair
    • increased bleeding,
    • convulsions
    • general weakness.

Dosage, method of administration

The tablets are chewed or absorbed, taken with meals. On a day you can use:

  1. children from 3 to 5 years old - strictly in accordance with the doctor's prescription;
  2. from 6 to 12 years old - 1-2 tablets;
  3. over 12 years old and adults - 2 tablets
    (1 pc. 2 times a day, or 2 pcs. once a day).

The tool is effective only when used as a course - from 4 to 6 weeks.

The specific duration should be set by the attending physician, who, if necessary, will adjust the dosage, taking into account the age and data of the biochemical parameters of the patient's blood.

Calcium D3 Nycomed is used with caution during periods of pregnancy in women and subsequent breastfeeding.

Contraindications

  • An excess of vitamin D in the body - hypervitaminosis - if it is taken as part of other drugs.
  • Hypercalcemia and hypercalciuria detected by laboratory tests.
  • Hypersensitivity to the active or excipients of chewable tablets, as well as peanuts and soybeans.
  • Nephrolithiasis and a number of other serious kidney diseases.
  • Active tuberculosis.
  • Phenylketonuria.

The drug is contraindicated for people with hereditary fructose intolerance, in the case of sucrose-isomaltase deficiency and glucose-galactose malabsorption due to the presence of sorbitol, isomalt and sucrose in its composition as auxiliary substances.

Chewable tablets are not used to treat children under the age of three.

Side effects

Specific manifestations of impaired metabolism: hypercalcemia and (or) hypercalciuria.

From the digestive system: abdominal pain, constipation or diarrhea, nausea, vomiting.

Skin reactions: redness, burning, itching.

Overdose

If the doses indicated in the instructions or prescribed by the doctor are not observed, signs of hypercalcemia may occur:

  • arrhythmia, heart failure;
  • severe fatigue, a feeling of weakness in different muscle groups;
  • bone pain;
  • anorexia (wasting) accompanied by increased thirst;
  • polyuria (a significant increase in urine production);
  • nausea and vomiting;
  • general weakness, fainting.

Excessive doses and long-term use of the drug are fraught with such a formidable complication as calcification of blood vessels and tissues, which become fragile, and with calcification of the cerebral vessels, dementia or mental disorders may even occur.

Price

The prices for the drug in Moscow pharmacies depend on the number of tablets in the bottle:

  • packages of 20 and 30 pieces - from 165 to 290 rubles;
  • 50 pieces from 287 to 517 rubles;
  • 100 and 120 pieces - from 587 to 820 rubles.

Cheaper analogues of the drug Calcium-D3 Nycomed

In Russia, many medicines are produced that are a source of calcium and vitamins. Of the more affordable analogues of Calcium D3 Nycomed, one can name:

  • Complivit Calcium D3.
    Russian drug with a similar composition (calcium carbonate and colecalciferol), but at a slightly lower price.
    A pack of 20 tablets costs from 108 to 135 rubles, and a pack containing 100 tablets can be bought for 350-395 rubles.
  • Calcium-Active.
    Calcium-Active tablets contain organic, easily assimilable calcium extracted from the leaves of the medicinal plant amaranth, as well as phosphorus and vitamin D3. This drug is even more affordable: 40 tablets cost from 82 to 101 rubles, and 80 pieces - 148-190 rubles.
  • Calcid.
    Calcid is a biologically active food additive obtained from eggshells. The use of modern biotechnology makes it possible to fully preserve the natural set of various trace elements contained in the shell. In addition to Ca, the preparation contains vitamins D, C, group B. The price for 100 tablets is about 130 rubles.

The effectiveness of treatment with medication can be significantly enhanced by fairly simple methods. One of the most accessible is to understand what time it is best to take the medicine, and try to adhere to this particular regimen. For example, when to take calcium in the morning or evening is of great importance for bone repair. And about this - right now.

This element plays a vital role in more than just bone health.

Along with this main task, it performs the following functions:

  1. Provides the process of muscle contraction and thus participates in the heartbeat (the myocardium is the main muscle of the heart that pumps blood through the vessels).
  2. Provides blood coagulation processes, as it enhances the effect of vitamin K, which is involved in these reactions.
  3. Provides a mechanism for the selective permeability of substances through the membranes (barriers) of cells: some substances pass through it, others do not.
  4. This element takes part in the process of formation and transmission of impulses through the cells of the nervous system (neurons).
  5. Participates in metabolic and hormonal processes by activating certain vital chemical reactions in the body.

First of all, medicines containing this element should be used by those people who are at risk:

  • suffering from osteochondrosis, arthritis or having prerequisites for their development (for example, hereditary);
  • have suffered various fractures and other bone injuries;
  • predisposed to colon cancer;
  • by gender - women are more susceptible to a lack of this element due to the hormonal characteristics of the body;
  • leading an improper lifestyle in terms of an unbalanced diet: an excess of carbonated drinks, sweets, flour products, coffee, alcohol and fatty foods, as well as foods with an excess of salt (chips, pickles for the winter, etc.);
  • by age - people over 60 need special care for their bones due to the gradual weakening of bone tissue and salt deposition.

On the other hand, even if a person does not fall into any of these categories, he may, on the recommendation of a doctor, decide to take the appropriate medication, especially if he has some of the following symptoms:

  1. Unexplained anxiety, irritability, insomnia.
  2. Frequent numbness in the arms and legs, frequent cramps, involuntary muscle contractions.
  3. Pain in joints, bones, sore gums.
  4. Brittle nails.
  5. Women have unusually heavy menstrual flow.
  6. Children have severe growth retardation, often a desire to eat chalk.

NOTE

None of the listed signs is an absolutely accurate signal to start taking medications. Before deciding on therapy, you should definitely consult your doctor for advice.

The list of foods rich in calcium (in descending order) is as follows:

  1. The group of dairy products - cheeses (the record holder for content is Parmesan), cottage cheese, sour cream, kefir, yogurt.

PLEASE NOTE - Contrary to popular belief, milk is not the best source of calcium. The fact is that, along with this element, its composition includes lactose, which belongs to simple carbohydrates, in excess of damaging bones. A much more suitable product is cheese, which contains no lactose at all.

  1. Greens and some vegetables: all types of cabbage, parsley, spinach, dill.
  2. Almost all nuts, especially almonds and Brazil nuts.
  3. Sesame and poppy seeds.
  4. Whole grain flour (there is no calcium in the premium flour).
  5. Soy and products based on it.
  6. Molasses is a great option for those with a sweet tooth. If you replace sugar with molasses, the body has a double benefit: it will be saturated with calcium, and on the other hand, it will avoid the harmful effects of excess sugar.

NOTE

You should not focus on only one of the products - the food should be varied. In addition, the constant use of monotonous food is bad for the state of the gastrointestinal tract.

Oddly enough, in the medical community there is no unambiguous and clear answer to the question of when it is better to take calcium-containing drugs (for example, calcium d3 nycomed). Therefore, one should not expect unambiguous recommendations on this score.

Nevertheless, there are several simple rules, the observance of which is guaranteed to increase the effect of therapy due to a more complete absorption of the components:

  1. Since there are equally opinions that you can take calcium during the day and you can drink it in the evening, the most correct option is to split the dose into at least 2 parts and take it, like most other drugs: in the morning and in the evening. Or split into three parts and take in the morning, lunch and evening. At the same time, it has been proven that frequent intake in small portions is much more effective than a single large portion - it will not be absorbed in full.
  2. A fundamentally important point at which many make a mistake, as a result of which the intake of calcium-containing preparations turns out to be virtually meaningless: they use these drugs only in conjunction with those substances that contribute to its absorption by the bone tissue. These are vitamin D, food and preparations containing phosphorus and magnesium - these elements themselves are beneficial and enhance the effect of calcium.

PLEASE NOTE - Vitamin D is found in beef liver, sour cream, egg yolk, fish oil, herring, and especially a lot of it in the liver of any type of marine fish. All nuts, sunflower seeds, beans, green apples, green bell peppers are rich in magnesium. Phosphorus is found in dairy products, meat and poultry, eggs, fish, walnuts, and oatmeal.

  1. Along with the fact that it is important to know when is the best time to drink calcium, its combination with food plays an equally significant role. It is important to take the medication only after a light, low-fat meal. And do not take them in combination with some organic acids (oxalic and phytic) - accordingly, do not eat sorrel, spinach, beets in parallel.
  2. The dosage form of the drug is important. If it is possible to purchase a medicine in the form of a liquid or powder, it is better than tablets.
  3. However, among the tablets, there are also different variations - from traditional to chewable and effervescent. The latter type is the best, it is absorbed most fully and quickly.
  4. In the instructions for the preparation, it is imperative to clarify in what form the calcium is contained, i.e. what active substance is the basis of this medicine. Calcium carbonate is well absorbed with or immediately after meals. And calcium gluconate, lactate and citrate (organic forms) are absorbed regardless of food and time of day.
  5. Finally, like most other medicines, calcium medicines are always taken with an excess of 1-2 glasses of liquid.

Thus, the effectiveness of taking calcium-containing preparations, first of all, depends not on what time of day it is better to take them, but on the following factors:

  • combination with certain food;
  • combination with drugs that promote the absorption of calcium and its most complete assimilation by bone tissue;
  • chemical (dosage form of the drug).

Therefore, the question of at what time of the day calcium is better absorbed can be largely replaced by the question: in combination with what drugs and food, this element brings more benefits.

NOTE

Before taking calcium, it is imperative to consult a doctor to avoid possible side effects associated with the characteristics of a particular organism. In any case, long-term, over 6-12 months (or several years) calcium intake can lead to the formation of kidney stones.

Thus, calcium is one of the vital elements that the body cannot do without. And it is important to take medications containing it only on the basis of the above rules. Otherwise, the effect of therapy will be virtually zero.

In this article, you can read the instructions for using the drug Calcium D3 Nycomed... Application during pregnancy and lactation

Care should be taken when prescribing the drug during pregnancy and lactation.

Vitamin D and its metabolites can be excreted in breast milk, therefore additional intake of calcium and vitamin D from other sources in the mother and child must be considered.

Application in children

Contraindicated in children under 3 years of age.

special instructions

Calcium D3 Nycomed tablets contain aspartame, which is transformed into phenylalanine in the body, therefore, the drug should not be taken with phenylketonuria.

When using the drug Calcium-D3 Nycomed in patients who receive cardiac glycosides and / or diuretics, it is necessary to control the concentration of calcium and creatinine in the blood serum.

In the case of an increased concentration of calcium or creatinine in the blood serum, as well as in the case of hypercalciuria exceeding 7.5 mmol per day (300 mg per day), the dose of the drug should be reduced or treatment temporarily stopped.

To avoid overdose, additional intake of vitamin D3 from other sources must be considered.

The intake of food products containing oxalates (sorrel, spinach) and phytin (cereals) reduces the absorption of calcium, so you should not take Calcium-D3 Nycomed within 2 hours after taking sorrel, spinach, cereals.

Calcium-D3 Nycomed should be used with caution in immobilized patients with osteoporosis due to the risk of hypercalcemia.

Drug interactions

With simultaneous use with phenytoin or barbiturates, a decrease in the activity of vitamin D3 is possible.

Calcium preparations can potentiate the therapeutic and toxic effects of cardiac glycosides, therefore, with the simultaneous use of Calcium D3 Nycomed and cardiac glycosides, it is necessary to monitor the ECG and the clinical condition of the patient.

Calcium and vitamin D3 preparations can increase the absorption of tetracyclines from the gastrointestinal tract, therefore, the interval between taking Calcium-D3 Nycomed and antibiotics of the tetracycline group should be at least 3 hours.

With simultaneous use with bisphosphonates or sodium fluoride, their absorption may decrease, therefore it is recommended to take Calcium-D3 Nycomed no earlier than 2 hours after these drugs.

GCS reduce calcium absorption, therefore, in patients receiving GCS, an increase in the dose of Calcium-D3 Nycomed may be required.

With simultaneous use with cholestyramine or laxatives based on mineral or vegetable oil, the absorption of vitamin D3 may decrease.

With simultaneous use with thiazide diuretics, the risk of developing hypercalcemia increases due to an increase in tubular calcium reabsorption. Furosemide and other "loop" diuretics, on the contrary, increase the excretion of calcium by the kidneys.
