There are quite a few documents that confirm her specialness, and she was arrested in Poltava. For the decisions of the court under the name of Maria Slepchenko, she was sent to Siberia, Cainsky district.

Who was there in the world? You can only guess about this from various lists and editions of their lives. Spirituality was taken away from the noble family, and their spirituality shone through the days of foolishness. It was illuminated, as can be seen from what happened: one day the village in which Domna Karpivna lived at that hour came up, a noble woman passed by, and Domna talked to her for a long time in foreign language. Her appearance was increasing; in youth, it was obviously even hotter. All the same, she called for nothing, having loved the Lord Jesus Christ and for His sake, eager to preserve her worth, she committed herself to the important and dangerous path of foolishness.

She didn’t like to talk to herself. Just once she said to the squads of village priests: “Wear caps, matins, cloth that is clean. They will be more respected. When I was young, I myself got better. In another relationship with the woman she married, whom she called “mother,” she said: “I didn’t have a father, I lived with my aunt. My aunt wanted to marry me by force, but I didn’t want to leave at all.” lay in the cage and flowed ". In isolated outbursts, Domna lost her foolishness with certain people and spoke rationally, matter-of-factly, her words breathed with lofty Christian love and with its warmth calmed the souls of the listeners.

A lot of residents gave her gifts, and Eminence Porfiry, having given her a fur coat, received it from time to time and discreetly distributed it to the foals. Blessed Domna passed on the name of the new Archpastor of Tomsk - Alexy.

She died on June 16, 1872 and was buried in the St. John the Baptist Monastery of Tomsk. In 1984, the family was glorified as blessed at the hour of the establishment of holy day for the Cathedral of Siberian Saints. This shrine was desecrated in the days of Radyansk, and a little later its name was buried.

Domna Tomska (Domna Karpivna; cob XIX century - 16 (28) June 1872, Tomsk) - Tomsk holy fool. Canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church in 1984 at the warehouse of the Cathedral of Siberian Saints.

Along with the Reviz tales, Domna Karpovna was born in the Poltava province and, having been orphaned at an early age, was taken in by her aunt. As a person without a passport, she was arrested for vagrancy and was sent to Tomsk, where she began acting as a fool.

She mocked the lack of covetousness, did not accept pennies of alms, freely the bread that she distributed to the mandrians. Domna Karpovna died in 1872 and was buried in the monastery of St. John the Baptist Monastery in Tomsk. In 1927, the monastery was closed and three years later it was liquidated, and a student town of the Tomsk Institute of Technology was created later. At the 1996th anniversary of the foundation of the institute on the site of the blessed Domna, a chapel was built. The sign on it says:
