The origin of the order of free masons. Mysterious masons who they are: freemasons or masters of life

A century ago, few would have thought that a secret society under a peaceful name " Freemasons"will determine the main political and economic events in the world. The Russian meaning of the name of this organization corresponds to the word" masons ", legends about which have even penetrated into the cinema.

The worldview of modern man is shaped to a large extent by the mass media. It is from there that we take the lion's share of information about what is happening in the world and around us. However, few people think about the fact that the media action orients the human mind in a certain direction. Presidents, governments, parliaments with their many parties lead an active political life. International treaties, trade, economic and political upheavals, military conflicts seem to be determined by them. But in fact, everything is more complicated. There is a guide external and invisible, secret. At this stage of human development, virtually no country in the world is completely independent. In one way or another, its government is controlled by a secret world government, which is a few hundred of the most influential people on the planet, bound together by bonds of secret societies. This question is well covered by John Coleman in his book “Committee 300”. The world government has its own political and economic “programs” for the whole world and arising from the teachings of the secret societies that they represent. The existing secret societies today hardly represent a single system, but it can be said with confidence that the core of the secret world government is Freemasonry, or more precisely, its top is the Illuminati.

About the Illuminati conversation was in the article "The Illuminati: on the way to the technotronic dictatorship." It can only be noted that the most common version of their origin speaks of their 200-year history (although the name “Illuminati” is found already in the XIV century). According to this view, the founder of the modern Illuminati is Adam Weishaupt, who united the teachings of Freemasonry with the teachings and rites of other secret societies (in particular: Assassins, Templar, Priory of Zion). As for the Freemasonry, which is the basis of the Illuminati, today there is also no consensus about its origin. There are a number of legends, and, according to the most common of them, the emergence of Freemasonry dates back to the times of King Solomon, who entrusted the architect Hiram with the direction and guidance for building a temple in Jerusalem (the legend of Adoniram).

By this great architect, the workers were divided into three classes, and in order for them to recognize each other, words, signs, and special touches were established. From here, in the opinion of the masons, comes the establishment of the degrees (degrees) of masonry and the special symbolic language of the masons' brothers.

Another legend says that Freemasonry is the legacy of the scholars and priests of Chaldea, India and Egypt, who thus spread their teachings.

The third legend asserts that Freemasonry comes from the Order of the Templars (knights templar), banned in 1312 and subsequently defeated by French King Philip IV and Pope Clement V for "Satanism, defaming Christianity and greed".

As said above, the word “mason” means “freemason”. Initially, these people really had to do with architecture, but in the future, the ranks of the Freemasons were not filled with builders. The real meaning of this name has a symbolic meaning. Spiritual knowledge in Freemasonry was expressed through symbolism, allegories and rituals (Masonic handshake, pyramid, pentagram, the use of 3, 7, 13, 33 in the emblems). Helsing in his work notes that Freemasonry is one of the oldest organizations currently in existence. Papyrus scrolls, found in 1888 during excavations of the Libyan desert, describe their secret meetings as early as 2000 BC. The “free masons” proclaimed the purpose of their movement as a journey through the steps of spiritual perfection (according to the generally accepted opinion, there are only 33 steps), with respectful fear experienced by the deity. This god in Freemasonry is called the “Great Architect”. Who is this god?

According to the research of the English journalist Knight, modern Freemasonry is divided into levels containing a number of steps. Masons of the lowest levels can be people of various convictions and religions, often very respected people (at one time even Alexander Pushkin visited the Freemasons). The main condition here is the belief in the ideals declared by the fraternity of “free masons”. Who does not know the slogan “Freedom, equality, fraternity”? However, only masons who belong to the highest levels of initiation know the true goals and objectives of the brotherhood. Knight managed to find out the name of the god honored as the “Great Architect”, but he paid for it with his life.

In the fourteenth century, for the first time, the highest initiation of the secret society of the “Serpent Brotherhood” under the Latin name “Illuminati” (Latin “illuminare” - “to enlighten”) occurs. According to V. Cooper: “The Serpent Brotherhood devotes its activities to the preservation of the“ secrets of generations ”and the recognition of Lucifer as the one and only God.” The same Lucifer (literal meaning "luminous"), a fallen cherub, expelled from Heaven and became Satan. Since the Freemasonry of the highest degrees of initiation is essentially the Illuminati, one can understand what secret Knight has learned.

Thus, occultism, economics and politics are closely intertwined here. Having in hands very big financial, military and intellectual resources, by the end of the XX century freemasonry acquired unprecedented power. What tasks does it set today? It was said above that the fraternity of freemasons has its own goals, and the main one is the New World Order with a single non-cash currency, a unified society with a single standardized thinking and world religion, in which Christ will take another place ...

There is an opinion that the world economy is ruled by masons. Who they are is not known to many, and therefore there is a mass of various legends, conjectures and gossip. They are often talked about, envied, accused of all human troubles and sometimes attributed to the mystical qualities gained through secret knowledge. But in fact, this is mainly due to the lack of reliable information. People tend to explain everything incomprehensible and unknown with the help of magic and mysticism.

The history of the fraternity

If you delve into the history and operate with exclusively confirmed facts, the society of masons (the union of free masons, as they call themselves) was created in England. In the 12th century, a kind of guild movement appeared in this European country, consisting of artisans who wore special uniforms and possessed certain privileges due to their high wealth and position in society.

The heyday of the movement is the 15th century. At this time, it was the masons' guild that received additional privileges from the king himself. They had the right of free movement within the state, wearing the uniform and were considered representatives of the most influential guild. It was during this period that the term "Masons" appeared. Who are they now, after 6 centuries? This is a question whose answer is ambiguous.

Supermen or masters of their craft? ..

In the entire history of the society, its members were several prominent architects. The most famous among them is Christopher Wren. His most famous work - the Cathedral of St. Paul. It is interesting in that the traditional columns, designed to maintain the ceiling, are simply not available to it. That is, Ren managed to erect a building in such a way that there is no need for them, and they play a purely aesthetic role. Thus, the architect proved his skill level not only to opponents, but to the whole world.

Later, when the brotherhood was experiencing hard times, not only builders were accepted into it, but also priests, merchants, and representatives of other professions. And they all began to call themselves "Masons". Who they really were, in those days nobody was interested, it was important that the fraternity survive. Newbies made their contribution to the general box office, sometimes considerable.

Some historians claim that it was these representatives who entered the society in difficult times, and later began to rule it, transferring power to their own descendants. Thus, now this is not the fraternity of freemasons, who once considered themselves masons. Who are they now? First of all, people. Yes, perhaps, possessing certain secret knowledge, which allows to manage huge corporations, to subjugate hundreds, thousands and even millions of ordinary citizens. Among them are Europeans, Americans, Jews and Arabs, now there is not a single continent on which there is its own bed. Masons have their own rules, their own symbols and their own understanding of life. But this does not give them superhuman qualities. Symbols of masons are known to many and are often found in everyday life. These are the six-pointed star (the main sign of the Jews), and the radiant delta (known as the all-seeing eye, which is present and often used by various religions), and the chess floor, the hammer, and the compass with a square, identified with the earth and the sky. They are many, and each has its own meaning.

In general, masons are educated, intelligent people who possess certain knowledge and value them. Thanks to their intelligence, diligence, order, and other qualities, the fraternity members achieved many earthly blessings, including wealth, power, and a corresponding reputation.

We have all heard of the Masons and their supposed goal of global domination through the new world order, but how many of us know anything significant about this subject? Freemasonry is one of the oldest and largest fraternities in the world. And in fact, this society is not so secret.

Masons assure that their only goal is to make people better, and his ideals of friendship, mercy and fraternal love survived through the centuries even in the most powerful political, military and religious conflicts. Freemasonry is not meeting  or a place to worship. it not a religion  as many think, it does not teach religious philosophy. But there are still a lot of questions for this fraternity.

Factum  gives answers to many of them. So, who are the masons?

1.   The number of Freemasons around the world is approximately 5 million (of which about 480 thousand in the UK and 2 million in the USA).

2.   Many believe that Freemasonry is a secret society, but it is not. Masons are free to report their affiliation, although they cannot reveal the secrets of the order.

3. The generally accepted date for the emergence of Freemasonry is June 24, 1717, when the Grand Lodge of London was created. After this date, the Grand Lodges began to manage other lodges.

4.   The society of masons uses the masons' methods and tools to teach their members the principles of morality, friendship, and fraternal love. Therefore, the main emblem of society became the compasses and the square.

5.   It is commonly believed that masons use symbols to classify their activities. However, the symbols appeared at the earliest stages of the formation of the fraternity, when many of its members could not read. Abundant symbolism served as a reminder of the lessons of fraternity.

6.   The oldest Masonic symbol can be called a compass and a square. It is also the most universal recognizable sign, although its exact meaning varies in different countries.

7.   The Masonic "lodge" is not just the name of the building, but a group of people conducting meetings in this building. Each lodge receives letters from the “Grand Lodge”, but basically the principle of self-government operates. There is no single ceremony for holding meetings, rituals vary from group to group.

8.   It is impossible to become a mason, being an atheist. The primary requirement for potential members is belief in some higher power.

9.   There are two well-known directions for Freemasonry. Regular, ruled by the United Great Lodge of England and the Liberal, represented by the Great East of France.

10.   Masons usually recognize each other by various “secret” signs, for example, rings with a Masonic emblem, stripes on clothes, and sometimes the famous Masonic handshake (during a shake, the thumb touches the other person’s hand in a special way) from San Francisco and Washington.

11.   Who committed a massacre in Norway in 2011, Anders Breivik was a practicing Freemason.

12.   Masons have a rule - not to testify against other Masons. They admit that this may be the cause of perjury, but for them not to defend their own is a much greater sin.

13.   There is no one person expressing the opinion of all masons. The brotherhood consists of a large number of people in many organizations, submitting to their territorial Great Lodge. No member can speak on behalf of all Freemasonry. This is the duty of the Great Lodge that unites this territory.

16. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin was a member of the Lake Clear Lodge No. 1417 in Texas. He piloted the lunar module on Apollo 11 during the first ever landing with a man aboard. Stepping on the moon, he had a special assignment from his Great Master — to declare the moon the territorial jurisdiction of the Great Lodge of Texas. John Glenn was a mason too.

17.   Catherine Babington wanted so much to find out what kind of freemasonry she was, that for more than a year during the meetings she hid inside the department for speeches. When she was discovered, she was held captive for almost a month.

18.   Among the most famous Freemasons are Charles Darwin, Mark Twain, Winston Churchill, John Edgar Hoover, Benjamin Franklin, and the first president and founding father of the United States, George Washington.

19.   Proponents of conspiracy theories associate masons with the Illuminati. But this is not too similar to the truth, since the Illuminati society is so secret that some people still do not believe in its existence, while freemasons are free to report their affiliation.

23.   In the variety of Freemasonry practiced in the United States, members must in any form believe in God.

24.   The Masonic Temple in Chicago, Illinois was built in 1892. At one time it was the tallest building in the world, having a height of 22 floors.

25.   During the American Civil War, soldiers of the fighting sides, identifying each other as freemasons, helped each other and saved each other’s lives. Even during the war, Masonic loyalty to the fraternity did not weaken.

On the Masons written countless literary works and shot many films. This ancient order is covered with a mystical halo and, despite its centuries-old history, still raises many questions.

Fans of conspiracy are haunted either by the All-Seeing Eye, which is one of the Masonic symbols, or the media reports about secret meetings of the Great Masonic Lodge. Who are the masons? What are these people and what are they doing?

What does the word "mason" mean?

Translated from the French word maçon  means "mason" . Where the masons came from was not reliably established, but according to one of the versions, the organization was born at the beginning of the 17th century in France and initially united French bricklayers who worked in the operational workshops.

In the future, construction societies began to decline, so not only tsekhoviki, but also learned men, who called themselves "third-party bricklayers", began to gain access to the Masonic lodges.

Who are the masons?

Freemasonry is a closed movement based on the principles of morality and charity. During the Middle Ages, free masons had a prominent position in society, since the castles and gothic temples that they erected seemed to be a real miracle to the people.

Each construction cooperative had its own secrets of craftsmanship, from which a hierarchical structure of freemasonry with division into lodges later arose.

At the time of the appearance of society, covered workshops were called lodges on the outskirts of buildings under construction, where bricklayers gathered for rest or lunch. Gradually, they became the main organizational unit of Freemasonry. Each country has its own lodges, which regularly meet in one place, initiate the fraternity of new members, and manage the property of the organization.

The largest for today is the United Great Lodge of England, which consists of more than 270 thousand members.

There is no single body in Freemasonry that would manage all the boxes in the world. In any state there is its own great (main) lodge and many subordinate associations. At the head of each Masonic order is an honored master, endowed with the greatest powers compared with the rest of the organization.

In addition, in each box there are officers who have their own duties — the gatekeeper, the orator, the ringleader, etc. The officers are elected annually at the general assembly and accompanied.

What is the essence of Masonic teaching?

Masonic organizations operate in accordance with the principles, the list of which is called landmarks. According to the ideology of the movement, each member of the organization must believe in a Higher Entity, with all participants being given complete freedom of religion. This means that, for example, for the Christian the Supreme Trinity is the Holy Trinity, and for the Muslim - Allah.

In Freemasonry, symbolic division into three degrees is used, that is, all members of the organization are divided into three degrees (degrees) - master, apprentice and student. Special signs and gestures are used to access meetings and identify each other, which can vary significantly in each bed.

When initiating into masons, certain rituals are performed. For example, first a novice is led to a room of thought, in which he must think about the impermanence of life, and then blindfolded, they lead to a Masonic temple, where without a left shoe and with a rope around his neck he goes through a number of rituals.

What do the masons do?

It is believed that the activity of the Masonic organizations is a secret sealed, but it is well known that the fraternity is involved in charity and funding various projects. Masons help hospitals and shelters, invest in research and medical laboratories, sponsor schools and universities.

It is not excluded that they influence the political life of their countries, since many of the participants in the movement are rich people and famous political figures. The names of the members of the organization are carefully hidden, but there is an assumption that at various times the Freemasons were Henry Ford, George Washington, Beethoven, Goethe, Mark Twain and even Pushkin.

For a person who has chosen the path of personal development, mastering the laws of magic and seeking to attract a lot of money with its help, it will not be superfluous to study the relevant sections of history. A serious step towards this is the study of ancient magical orders and the secrets of their success. After all, it is in the centuries-old traditions, both of the physical and the subtle world, that the ancient magical secrets of attracting luck are stored. What a valuable secret to attracting money can reveal to us the ancient masonic order ? What are their astounding achievements and who are they really?

Freemasonry,  according to the interpretation of the explanatory dictionary, it is a religious and ethical movement that emerged in the thirteenth century, presumably in England, and is an ancient mystical secret organization with its own symbolism, rites and rituals. Although themselves masons  prefer a different wording: not "secret society",  but "A society with secrets."  In short - this is a special esoteric society, aimed at comprehending the unknown world laws and ways of managing reality. But what is their true ideology, their origin, what do they mean? ,   and what power ancient  capable and wealth, read on.

Origin

There are quite a few theories of the origin of the Masonic movement: king Solomon, to the point that the former were hiding under the secret organization "Knights of the Temple" ( the Templars)   after their defeat by the French king Philip the Fair. Or, that under the mask of masons from the government, at one time, hid radical-minded philosophers and scientists. Or what order, now a world famous and influential Masonic organization, originates from the medieval elite fraternity bricklayers-builders  Gothic architecture.

Theory of the origin of Masonic orders from the former the Knights Templar  - one of the main and well-established historical concepts, fanned by their mysterious connection. This hypothesis is based on two main provisions that scientists rarely dispute.   First:  after the actions of the French king Philip IV, who envied wealth, might and overall success templar, not all polls were destroyed "Knights of the Temple".  Only the ruling and especially radical persons of the great order were punished. The rest of the representatives remained free or entered other knightly orders, distributed throughout Europe. From this fact, it follows that the Templars  quite possibly could save and transfer their secret  knowledge and traditions, up to the thirteenth century, in the future going to order  secret society - freemasonry.

Second positiondemonstrates the success and consistency of the secret organization at the time of the creation of the Masonic lodges and, in fact, to this day. Suspecting Philip the Fair's imminent attack, including the massacre of the Inquisition, the Templars managed to hide most of their of money, and secret  knowledge of the meaning of their symbolism and amulets  on moneyon which further began to develop influential masonic organization.

The following hypothesis of the origin of Freemasonry is less mysterious, but no less reliable among the opinions of various scholars.

In the Middle Ages, Gothic style of architecture flourished in Western Europe, thanks to which a special clan (group) appeared "Stonemasons free stones"(in translation - free - mason ) which built temples and palaces of amazing size and beauty. "Free stones", unlike ordinary stones, at that time, softer natural stones (marble and limestone) were used, which were used in Gothic architecture for fine, bas-relief processing. Special privilege "Free stonecutters"  gave the advantage of free movement in Europe for the construction of unique Gothic structures and the number of money,  which they received as payment. Already then the first masons  were very rich people.

Why exactly "clan"  masons? Not all builders had this unique skill, but only rare masters who were initiated into the gothic art. These secret knowledge was transferred only to those who passed special tests and a special test of "strength". Even then, rituals and rituals of initiation into the builders of this kind began to be present in the “free masons” group, and there was also a statutory program and a special internal hierarchy. Since then, the modern freemasonry  inherited hierarchy and degrees (degrees) "Apprentice - apprentice - master"  and symbolism (apron, plumb, level, square, compass, hammer). But the idea of building Gothic temples, however, is no longer physically, but spiritually - to this day, modern efforts are built masons.

Subsequently, when the Gothic style lost its former significance, the differences between the groups of masons were erased, but the reputation behind the privileged "Freemasons" remained. Later, the so-called "Speculative (thinking) freemasonry».   Speculative masons  were not bricklayers-builders, but were honorary members of the Masonic lodges. The earliest record of the presence at the Masonic meeting lodges  The honorable mason dates back to June 8, 1600, when the Lodge of Edinburgh hosted John Boswell, a landowner of Oinclek, from Scotland. Like the stonecutters of the Middle Ages, modern representatives of the ancient order are working on processing "Wild stone" ,   trying to give it the correct and perfect forms, only this stone is now symbolic - imperfect life and soul of man.

Ideology

One of the main principles of the ideology of Freemasonry is moral perfectionwhich implies belief in the impact on all things   Higher Power ( ).   Great importance is attached to philanthropy, strengthening friendship, fraternity inside lodges  and following its constitution. Every freemason must surely believe in this or that God, follow this or that monotheistic religion. At the same time, which religion is not important. In masonic bed  it is unacceptable to discuss religious and political issues and beliefs, i.e. why this or that representative lodges  believes in this God and follows this religion. Therefore, by talking about Higher essencea Christian can freely understand   Holy TrinityMuslim Allah, and Hindu - Parabrahman  etc. But it is important to understand that freemasonry  - this is not a religion at alland not her replacement. Masonic philosophy rests on the faith of members. lodges  in God, but its main goal is moral and ethical relationships between people. Masons also loyal to the existing authorities and politics. The basic orientation and virtue of the masons is to help society, thanks to charity. One side freemasonry  - this "Revival"  with his humanism, social utopia and attention to man, as an individual, on the other - a pronounced religious consciousness, a genuine interest in mysticism and faith in the supernatural and mysterious. Religions, of course, left their mark on the philosophy of Freemasonry. Christianity  introduced the basic tenets of the ideology of Freemasonry - kindness, equality, peace and justice. Judaism  - hobby of some lies hebrew Kabbalah  (treatises: The Shining (Zohar) and the Book of Creation (Sefer Shecir) interpreted Old Testament.  Islam  reflected as a ban on the image of the deity and the commission of compulsory alms (charity). BUT buddhism  brought the search to the masons "Middle way"  and striving for a general consensus.

Masonic society  divided by three levels, or lodges. Lodge first level - Blue, is divided into three degrees - by the type of "private", "corporal", "junior sergeant."

Middle bed- Rite of york  or Red Lodge  has ten degrees. When the mason reaches the highest level, he can already enter the great Scottish ritein which already thirty two degrees. But it’s absolutely not easy to get into high positions, and the ideas and tasks there are already completely different.

Despite the apparent backstage, the influence of Freemasonry on the world process, according to some sources, is very great. Not for nothing, almost everything masons  - these are prosperous, rich and highly intelligent people.  And get into this order  very hard. Masons  they are located practically in all administrative structures of power all over the planet and control practically everything: information arriving at the masses, military actions and clashes, the economy, etc. In a word, everything is decided, but few know about it.

Famous masons were prominent figures of mankind, such successful and influential personalities as Winston Churchill, Henry Ford, Mozart, Voltaire, Duke Ellington, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Andrew Jackson, Franz Liszt, Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven, Niccolo Paganini, Yekaterinburg Sibelius, writers Johann Wolfgang Goethe, Rabindranath Tagore, Walter Scott, Oscar Wilde, Mark Twain, poets Alexander Pop, Robert Burns, Rudyard Kipling. Theodore Roosevelt and thirteen other American presidents. After all masons  created the American constitution  and first put it in the head human rights.

Russian masons were no less prominent persons who influenced the culture and science of our country - Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov, Mikhail Illarionovich Golenishchev-Kutuzov, Sumarokov, Novikov, Bazhenov Voronikhin, Levitsky, Borovikovsky, Zhukovsky, Griboedov, M. Voloshin, M. Aldanov, M. Osorgin, Adamovich, Gazdanov and even   Lev Tolstoywas involved in his views of Freemasonry.

From the foregoing, it can be concluded that the members of the Masonic Order are truly influential, wealthy, successful, and most importantly spiritually and intellectually developed individuals. Yes, this is a secret, ancient, and perhaps not well-known, society. But the fact that these people possess secrets of reality management, have access to valuable, accumulated over the centuries, information is not subject to the slightest doubt. Masons- This is the elite of the world community and they know and are very much in control.
